A Bit More About Me
I grew up in New Jersey and went to Rutgers University. I learned about Human Factors Psychology during an internship with AT&T, which led me to the Human Factors Psychology program at the University of Central Florida. During graduate school there, I focused on human-computer interaction in aviation, while working at the Center for Applied Human Factors in Aviation, the Naval Training Systems Center, the Institute for Simulation and Training, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Upon graduation I moved to San Jose, CA to work at IBM's Silicon Valley Lab. I worked as a UX designer for IBM for 20+ years, applying the IBM Enterprise Design Thinking approach to a wide variety of internal and external products. After IBM, I worked for 3 years at CentralSquare Technologies as a Senior UX designer and design team manager. For the past 2 years, I have been a Principal CX designer with Veritas Technologies, working in close collaboration with end users, designers, researchers, product managers and developers.

Outside of work I enjoy family time, biking, soccer and reading. I particularly enjoy science fiction, and highly recommend Station 11 and The Illustrated Man. If there is any spare time left over, I meditate, play Fallout 3, and learn everything I can about geographic information systems.
